In my early years as a designer around 2007 I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D200. I consumed photography books day and night and once I had enough to read I would go out and try out as much as I could. This was in the days before stock images were so easily accessible back when I was building websites from scratch. Wether you are doing a website or any type of marketing effort beautiful images are always in style and getting that perfect image could make or break the bottomline.
In the era of self branding knowing what it takes to get a beautiful image is key to be able to stand out in the current crowded market.
If you have not fiddled with photography I encourage any young designer to started begin getting aquatinted with cameras, it will enrich your career as an artist.
